Unhappy mandarmani after aila

i am thinking about going to manadarmani this weekend - aug1/2. Is it advisable to gothere, considering the aila effect on the place just a month ago. And also is the water safe there to drink. I also need some mid range hotels there with room cost aroung 5000- for 2 bed room . Can anyone provide me these info.

A few of my friends were there a week back. No adverse affects of Aila as such. The roads are in a bad condition though after the rains.Hope you have a good time.
