Laundry
Hi everryone,
Are there laundrymats in Kolkata or some other means of doing laundry aside from hand washing ourselves? I haven't seen any on my walks around and we're not too enthusiastic about doing our laundry by hand again. Thanks. Mike |

Laundromats is a fairly new concept in Kolkata - there are very few of them. Look for 'Dyers & Cleaner' shops in the locality. There must be some nearby. They take around 3 days to deliver and will be costly to use on a daily basis. Another cheaper option is to find out the local 'dhobi' or washer. Almost every locality has one.

Classic Laundry does a good job of washing, drying and ironing. They use washers/dryers. It is Rs40 per kilo. They used to be located in Kasba, but just moved to across the main road from the Udita apt complex on the EM bypass - before you get to Hiland Park/Big Bazaar.
