Kolkata domestic airport

Hi,

I am travelling from Ahmedabad to Kolkata and then flying down from Kolkata to Dhaka and was wondering how far is the domestic terminal from the international terminal (in minutes) and if somebody had experience with baggege wait, immigration wait etc. I only have 1 hour between the flights and wanted to check if I can make it to the international terminal.

Appreciate your help.

thanks

Baggage release at the airport is slow - so the less number of check-in luggage you have, the better. Once you land at Kolkata, somehow try to inform your onward flight service desk about your arrival. Or better if you can inform them in advance about your arrival schedule. You are expected to report 2-3 hours before international flight.

99.9999 % chance is that you will miss your connecting
flight to Dhaka, Moreover 1 hour is less for checking
into Dhaka flight.

Make at least 3 hours, though domestic is not so bad
as compare to International Terminal.

Cheers

it is very very risky.!
you baggage arival shall take at least 15 minutes.
morever one cannot be sure about timely arrival of flights specially with weather during monsoon.
as a thumb rule, there should be atleast 3-4 hours cnnecting time between two domestic flights.
since yours is a international flight safely 5-6 hours gap should be there.
