hindi course
hi, guys
does anyone have experience of doing a language learning course in india and in kolkata? am planning to stay in Kolkata for a month or so, and think its a good opportunity to learn hindi seriously... finally after half a year hanging around india )) |

What part of Kolkata? Easiest is to have a tutor who comes to the house but if you're a tourist, that's not feasible. There are courses out there, but not sure if 1-month long classes are offered.

could you please specify the long-term courses you know? does not matter what part of Kolkata, i did not find a flat yet, so will search according tothe course location do you know if there are any options as Kolkata university? or any courses for migrants? thans beforehands |

Hey ilgarion , Ramakrishna mission center for language study , they offer, short and long term courses on many languages( surely in Hindi too
, it's at the south part of the city, near Ballygaunge/Golpark ...Ask me if you need more info . |

Kolkata maybe not the greatest place to find Hindi tuition.
Anyone know of any...possibilities for Hindi tuition in U.P. ? |

Bjp has it right, it isn't exactly going to be immersion learning in the centre of Bengali culture..

You must mean me, in U.P. Yes, I had realised, I will have to ask when I am there. Not really any local, not all are speaking English - not many. But when I am there, I know many people I can ask about it. I would go to the school in Mussoorie but too cold for me in November, it would mean waiting until April. |
