good reasonable accommodation in calcutta
ive done so much research and feel bombazled with all the different opinions and reviews out there. can someone please help me find a good place to stay for a couple of nights in the city close to the sealdah station that wont break the bank or give me cockroaches in my bed!im after a standard double room that will check us in very early in the a.m and an airport pick up if possible. what do you think of hotel royal garden? looking at around $40 US amount.

Hi
Welcome to Kolkata.
I can understand your problem, wish I could help you. But I am sorry I really do not have any first hand info regarding hotels. BTW, why near Shealdah? I mean Esplanade / Park Street area is not far away from Shealdah. Hence Broadway, Lindsey, Litton, Fairlawn, Victoria Terrace – these are all well known names ! - Somnath Quote:
