Future Hope Charity, Kolkata

I am considering visiting the Future Hope charitable organization during a stay in Kolkata in a few months. I discovered this organization through the Stuff Your Rucksack website, which lists charities that have needs that can be served by travelers visiting their locales. I had a great experience visiting an organization in Africa last year from the same website. Does anyone have any experience with the Future Hope charity? If so, please let me know your thoughts on the same. Thank you.

Hi, I'm currently at Future Hope and its a fantastic charity! They have a school and homes around Kolkata and volunteers get involved with both. The kids are brilliant Please be aware though, that you have to arrange when you come through the future hope website - you cant just turn up out the blue! Most volunteers stay for a few months.
