Free Wi-Fi Spots in BBC & Maiden Area
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know any place with free Wi-Fi? I'm getting killed having to go to these Internet Cafe's all the time. Does the McDonald's over on Park St. have free Wi-Fi? Any other places like restaurants where I can buy a meal and then just surf to my hearts content? Thanks before hand. Mike |

looks like you're out of luck
Hi Mike, just did a google search and there doesn't seem to be any wifi spots in Kolkata.
I think the Oberoi Grand and other 5 star hotels might have but it might only be for guests or you have to pay at least Rs200 upwards for access. you could try this link, it might be helpfull. http://totalhotspots.com/directory/i...8-wifi-kolkata. Dependant on how long you're going to be in Kolkata, maybe you could buy a pre-paid usb internet access thingy from Reliance or other networks? I leave for Kolkata in two weeks for a 5 wk holiday and that's what I intend to do, I'll report on ease of use and quality later on. |
