cricket in kolkata
I'm travelling to India this coming December. I will be in Kolkata from 24/12/07 through to 2/01/08 and being an Aussie cricket fan I was hoping to see some cricket at Eden Gardens. Also I would like to see the open park area where dozens of games are being played at the same time. Does anyone no where this happens?

No idea about the cricket match, but wouldn't be surprised if at least a local game is on during your stay in Kolkata.
But for games, the same general area, from Eden Gardens right upto Victoria Memorial (the Maidan or field, as it is called) is pretty much it, specially on a holiday. |
