Are there a lot of Thais in Kolkatta?
I am going to travel to Kolkata in next 2 weeks.Expect to stay there around 2-3 weeks at least.I just would like to know that there in Kolkatta is there monthly room rent available...and where? I would like to get something which inexpensive.And which area that I can find Thai community in Kolkatta?

There used to be a commune next to Jodhpur Park Lake,South Calcutta; but I do not know the current whereabouts. Perhaps some local Chinese people would be able to throw some light.You can find the chinese in Bentick Street,Tangra etc.

Getting a rental room for 2-3 weeks would be difficult. Best option is to work out a deal with a hotel.
