Hi all! I will be in Kolkata for my son's cardiac check up at Rabindranath Tagore International Institite of Cardiac Sciences which is located in Mukundapur near Santoshpur, off the EM Bypass. As the check up would take 2-3 days I am looking for a decent hotel near the institute. I have found a couple of them on the net. One is Hotel Indrapuri. The other is GMA Inn (near Metropolis Mall). Would like to know the contact number of GMA Inn. Are other options available around the area? Any information would be of immense help. Thanks!

There is no decent hotel adjacent to R N Tagore. A few hotels are there but I don't know the details. Metropolis mall is not very near to the hospital.I have heard that rooms in the adjacent houses are available on rent.

Stayed at Wild Orchid. Its a newly constructed hotel near the RTIICS (Devi Shetty hospital as it is popularly known as in Kolkata). Friendly and helpful staff. Very good hotel and thanks a lot once again chief.

You are welcome. In fact the hotels over there
are much more decent than the hotels in "sudder
Street" area.

Cheers
