Accommodation near Missionaries of Charity
Hi there,
I am going to Kolkata in the next week or so to do volunteer work at MC's. If anyone could advise on cheap accommodation within walking distance of MC's. Also I am interested to hear from anyone past or present who has volunteered at MC's and what their experience was like. I have been told to just turn up there so I am basically just going to show up and take it from there. Any advice would be very helpful thank you! Shareen |

No one volunteers at the Missionaries of Charities main location - the Mother House. They go there for orientation and then meet there each morning to go to the different sites. So, I guess it depends on if you want to stay near the Mother House or your volunteer location.
