| Where to get taxi for Munnar from Kochi I would like to know from which place(Ernakulum junction or Ernakulum Town)would be best to get taxi for Munnar. I would be travelling from Kanniyakumari to kerala(by train) for reaching Munnar. Please suggest, if any better/shortest route for Munnar(other than via Ernakulum) exists. From Munnar, i have to again come back to Ernakulum for catching train for Goa? | |

| You may check with the travel desk of the hotel where you put up as most hotels have this facility. It is just 4 hrs from Ernakulam (Kochi). | |

| Negoiate with a driver outside the railway station. Daily rate is best and keep the driver for showing you around Munnar. For an Indica/Indigo it's approx 1200 - 1400 rps per day ALL Inclusive,Fuel,drivers bata. vandy  | |

| Need advice for Travel plan on Cochin to Munnar I am planning for travelling to Munnar from Cochin on Saturday early morning after my Official visit in Cochin till Friday Afternoon. This is with Family. Return will be Sunday Afternoon to Cochin Airport. Please advice if I should book a cab from Cochin from Sat and release on Sunday. it should cover site seeing as well. else.. travel by bus from Cochin to Munnar. make local cab booking on site seeing and what return option to airport? Any good avg priced hotel ( I am really bored of hotels available in metros  .. need something different)at Munnar.Thanks if you can guide. Pratap | |
