Weather Kerala Nov into Dec 2009

Hi there,

Planning last minute trip to Kerala from 21st Nov - 5th Dec 2009.

Just wondered what extra local knowledge we might profit from in terms of weather. Was hoping to spend some time on the beach and wondered how much sundshine to expect.

I know the rains will have passed but I read somewhere that the "retreating monsoon" can make Kerala overcast often in Nov and Dec?

What kind of weather should we expect on the coast at the beach?

I'm planning to do the same too. From 21 Nov to 4 Dec. Any kind souls can advise me on the weather in Kerala during this period? I'm especially concerned about the retreating monsoon.

hi,
its very rainy season here..i dont think you can go to beaches here..if you are interested in rain,then now it is the best time to come here down in kerala..

Generaly the weather is pleasnt during this months, but unfortunatly ther is some low presure devoloped in arabian sea so there is unexpected rain. last 10 days kerala is having rain.
Now almost the konkan costal belt is getting rain ( kerala ,karanataka,goa and Maharshtra ).most likely the weather will come normal with in next 10 days

In kerla other than beaches lot many other things U can enjoy. The climate is not that chilled like london the temp normaly 16 to 27
