Trivandrum: Motor bike hire?

How do?

I'm looking to get an idea on places to hire two wheelers and roughly how much per day...

I would like to pick one up in Trivandrum for approximately one week (Possibly two) to travel up to Cochin and then on to Munar..

Last time I hired was in North Goa for a scooter Rs100/day..

Cheers

Prices in Goa and Kerala are very similar: a scooter for around Rs. 100, slightly more if it is an Activa, and motorbikes from Rs. 250 to 350 depending on type.

Considering the lack of quality roads in Kerala, your route and distance you should choose a motorbike over a scooter, and you should consider mileage over saving money; rarely is it worth saving Rs. 20 or 30 a day on an older model when a, more expensive, newer model will be more fuel efficient (and more comfortable).

Look out for speed bumps and potholes. These are everywhere and very dangerous.

Don't know any dealers in Thiruvananthapuram. And the dealer will want his bike returned (not left in Munnar).
