Trivandrum airport

Does anyone know if it is possible to change money at Trivandrum airport very early in the morning?

Is the currency exchange counter fairly easy to locate?

(last minute questions....leaving in a week! yipee!)

The currency exchange counter is located on your
way out, just before you go outside, you should not be able to miss it.
I have no idea when it opens. I flew in at around
8 am and by then it was open.

You could try and phone them during the day -I've just thhrown my encashment certificate away, but it's a THOMAS COOK, so should not be hard to find a number.

Very efficient - but you will get better exchanges in resorts and for TC's ( Trav Cheques )

Thomas Cook was something like 78rs for a UK £ - but I was getting 80rs from "Moneychangers" all around - see it as a "Free Beer" if you change enough !.. ( if you're going to Kovalam, try the one at the back of the PAPPAKUTTY resort on the beachfront. )

Enjoy - Kerala, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu are some of the most enjoyable bits to visit. Kerala is really HOT at the moment, whereas is was raining cats and dogs in Madras !

you can change currency in mosy of the major towns in kerala and in althe tourist places, feroz fremroz in kovalam and statue give good rates if you try to negotiate
in my experiance the air port guys give less rate than others , but the maximum differance may be less than 30 to 50 Paisa
