Trip to wayanad

Hi
We are planning to visit Wayanad from 1st of Oct to 3rd of Oct. Plan is to start early morning around 4AM in Bangalore and then proceed towards Nagarhole.

Since we do not know which places to visit in wayanad for 2 days, please give us some info regarding the same.

Sanjeev,

The following places are not to be missed in Wayanad. You will requrie two days to see all this places. One catch is between one place and other, You will have alteast a travel distance of 30KMS.

Pookot Lake

Kanthampara water falls

Muthanga wild life sanctuary

Meenmutty falls

soochipara Falls

Kuruva dweep islands

Edakkal caves

Thirunelly temple

Should I stay at Kalpetta? If yes, do we get hotels directly if we go there or should we book from here?

Can u let me know some hotel?

Yes, Staying at Kalpetta or Sulthan Bathery will be good.

Let me know the Budget for accomodation spotsan.

Also, Since its a long weekend, Its advisable to book it in advance. I stayed in a resort called wyenberg resorts.

If you search for wayand in IM you will get more details.
