Soaked in Kerala?
Hello. I need some advice. I am going to India in the end of August and am thinking of spending most of my time in Kerala.l I am a bit worried about the monsoon....I know Kerala will be in full bloom at this time, but will I spend most of my days wet? Is it possible to stay on a houseboat at this time? Can you trek? What about mosqiutos?
Thanks for your advice! Christine |

Monsoon should be pretty much over in Kerala by the time you arrive. Mosquitoes may be a problem, though. Just take the usual precautions.

yes monsoon there is rain
But there will be shine too . Mozzies will not be a big problem.
Now good house boats are mozzie screened. Trekking on high hills are not suggested . Soft trekking can be done in midlands and lower high lands |
