Taking into consideration that you are from Delhi where you would be accustomed to very hot weather, Kerala during November would be reasonably pleasant. Expect a max temperature of around 33 degrees.
Since you are on your honeymoon trip, I guess more than cramming in a lot of must see places, what you would or should be looking for are not so touristy places where you can share romantic moments with your beloved and not be disturbed. My suggestion is two places. 1. Houseboats about which you would already know and heard aplenty. 2 days 1 night should suffice. You have to book the houseboats in advance. 2. Wayanad - little known haven in Kerala. This place is located in thickly forrested hills. Tourists are only slowly discovering the beauty of this place mainly because there is no actual place called Wayanad, only places like Kalpatta, Vythiri, Mananthavady etc which all form part of Wayanad. There are some very beautiful resorts here. Rain Country Resorts, Vythiri resorts are some of them. There are also many places to see in Wayanad. So spending 3 days here would be a good choice. It is best to book in advance. There is no rent a car option in Wayanad. You can take a taxi or bus from Kozhikode. |
