Recommendations for Car-Driver

Wow, we're finally at the stage when we are looking for car-driver combination to take us around our proposed itinerary in mid-August.

We're planning to take the train from Blore to Palakkad and then wanted to pick up a car-driver who would carry us (2 adults, 2 kids) thru Thrissur-Cochi-Allapuzzha-Kumarakoram-Munnar-Chinnar-Palakkad for about 9 days. We'd really appreciate recommendations for some good car-driver combos, especially where they can also give us ideas of places to stop off at, have good local knowledge, english/tamil conversant etc. Also advice on the kind of car we should get (consensus seems to be the innova?) would be great.

Hi Clive: we are looking to take the overnight train from Bangalore on Aug 14 and arrive in Palakkad at 6.40a on Aug 15. We will then have the car until Aug 24 (so 10 days).
