Queries on Kerala
A few queries on Kerala -
1. Which one of the houseboat operators is best/better - ATDC, Soma, Halo, Cruisoe, COCO - what is the difference amongst them, why so much variation in the qouted prices (where Soma says 3000INR per couple for Alleppey 24hrs others ask for 4700-5000INR) 2. How are the following hotels/resorts - a. Munnar - B-Six/ Royal Retreat/ Isaacs Residency/ Elysium Garden/ Westwood Riverside b. Thekkady - Wildside Villa Treehouse/ MAS Lake Queen/ Treetop resort c. Varkala - Rajapark Resort d. Kumarakom - Tharavadu Heritage Homes e. Kovalam - Swagath Resort 3. Is Kochi-Munnar-Thekkady-Alleppey Houseboat-Varkala-Kochi a feasible/suggested route (how much time does it take from thekkady to alleppey, alleppey to varkala and varkala to kochi by car/cab) |

Munnar: Elysium Garden
Perfectly fine. Nice restaurant, nice staff, they did hold the odd barbeque/party with music out the front until 11 pm though, if that bothers you.

Quick point - I would have hated to have visited Kerala without visiting the centre and North. Relaxed, lovely people.
