Private Car/Guide in Cochin and Goa

We are going to be stopping at these two ports on our cruise in March. We would like to have a private guide/car for our time in each city rather than take the shore excursions offered by the cruise company. We would welcome suggestions of reliable companies or individuals who would offer such a service. We are very interested in the Jewish sites and history of the region.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi,

My friend, Jenny, has a small travel company in Cochin.

She has cars and drivers, and can provide a guide.

Cochin has its own "Jew Town" and an ancient synagogue that shouldn't be missed!

If you would like Jenny's contact details, please let me know.

I know she will look after you very well, and won't charge an arm and a leg!

All the best,

John

In 3 /4 hours in Cochin, You could visit St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets, Jew Street, Synagogue (built in 1668), Dutch palace (Built by Portuguese in 1557, renovated by Dutch in 1663, famous for 200 year old mural paintings), Spice market a with guide.

At evenings, you have a possibility of witnessing a short Kathakali performance at Devan’s Gurukulam.
