Planning to travel to munnar

Hi we(2 persons) are planning a trip to Munnar,alleppy,cochin and we are expecting some treks and biking in and around munnar..

Pls give some inputs on that..
If any other adventurous things are there like rafting kind of pls tell me..

give me the best bus route to travel between the places..and places to stay also(..which are cheap as we need place to sleep and keep our luggages)..

I would reccomment the following route plan for your trip
Arrival at cochin - spend few days in cohin - you can get a bike for rent from here - proceed to alleppey (60 km), there you might be able to get a houseboat for your stay if you prefer to - from der move to munnar( it would be a hectic journey on the bike ) - spend few days in munnar - back to cochin - departure from cochin

I advised taking a bike from cochin because it would be difficult to rent a bike from other destination like munnar, and alleppey. At cochin der are few places that offer the service. But you will have to give a copy of your licence and if needed some guarantee.

May be : My suggestion is:

You could club the ooty/Silent Valley plan along with this plan and post a single itenary with "Place of Departure" and the "Number of days" at each place which might attract more suggestions !! [ I am not meaning opening up another thread but just putting together in any of the 2 threads].
