Place to stay

Hi .....

This is the first time for me on this website. Looks to be a promising site.

I was looking for places to stay (quality and within budget) at mararikulam or silent valley.
I would prefer homestays.... anytime.

Could you pls suggest.

Do you mean Silent Valley National Park near Palghat? There is a forest department rest house at Mukkali - get details from the kerala forest dept. website, otherwise the nearest mainstream place is at Palghat. You may also find basic lodging at Attapadi or Mukkali.

Do you think Rest house will be decent enough with basic infrastructure? I am looking Basic only.

More so the enjoy the nature.

Can you suggest any other location?
