Periyar--Chrissies or Villa Prakriti
Does anybody have recommendations for staying at Chrissies versus Villa Prakriti in Kumily/Periyar National Park? Does either one have better wildlife? How is the food? How are the accommodations?
Thaks a lot |

Hi & Welcome to IM
I stayed 1 night in Chrissies last year and was not to impressed The rooms are located at the back of property and a considerable stairs climb is involved to get to the rooms. There's a reasonably good homestay couple of doors down called Mickeys Cottage.Even further down the road is Hotel Ambadi which was quite Impressive with very nice rooms for a good rate, it also has a very good rest'nt.I did not take a room at Ambadi as I had allready committed to Mickeys, however I did go there for my meals and had a look at some rooms for future visits. Sorry can't help with Villa Prakriti. Rgds vandy ![]() |
