One week trip - Help Required.

Hi Everyone,

I have been looking for a trip to Kerala from longer times and research a bit on that from long time. Planning to execute that by month of Aug or Sept.

Plan of visit.
1. Get down at Cochin and stay there for 1 day.
2. Straight to munnar by bus or taxi, stay there for 2 days
3. Stay in Allepey/Kumarkoam for 3 days along with houseboat trip.
4. Back to Cochin and fly back.

Need help
1. Place to stay in Cochin preferable around Fort Cochin, can be a hotel or home stay max 2000/-.
2. Transport to Munnar by taxi or bus.tentaive charges of taxi for whole trip of 2 days or just for dropping.
3. Place to stay in munnar max 2500, as most of time we will be out for sight sightings.
3. Place along backwaters : Philipkutty’s Farm (Kumarakoam) vs Pooppallys home stay (Allepey).Both places are great places to stay but not able to choose.
4.Tentaive Charges of House boat of one day trip with ac or without ac in those months.Is it better to take a AC or Non AC one.

Please Suggest.

Philip Kutty's Farm is meant to be nice, but there is a reason that it is difficult to find their rates online: they are close to $300 per night. I don't know Pooppallys, but rates are much more reasonable.

I got the rates from both of them Philip Kutty's Farm Cost Rs 7000/- for 2 person per day includes stay,3 course meals + some other stuff.
Pooppallys cost Rs 5000/- for same stuff .

Need Suggestion from the people who stayed thir or knows about the experience of each of the places.
