Need budget accomodation reccomendation for Varkala for end of December

Hi,

My wife and I are coming back to Kerala from the 25th of December until the 5th of January. We want to stay for about 5 days in Varkala, from about the 28th of December until the 2nd of January, which we imagine is the peak period for the beach.

When we have been in India previously we have never bothered to book and just taken the best accomodation available when we got somewhere, this time with less time and a desire to stay somewhere nice I think i would like to book a place in Varkala and chance the rest.

Can someone please reccomend a place with nice rooms which is well located and quiet. Looking to spend between 500-800rs a night for a double room with bathroom.
