Munnar

Hi, Can anybody tell what would be the weather end november in Munnar. We would like to go there after we visit Periyar. Also is there a bus from or train from Periyar to Munnar and from Munnar to Kovalam ?

it will be fairly cold at that time , may be 10-15 at night

Munnar is a hill station and so the weather will be very cold there in Nov.
Since it is unpredicatable in a hill station, son't be surprised if you get a drizzle for a few minutes suddenly.

There are busess from Periar to Munnar (actual bus stand is in Kumily about 4- 5 kms from Periar) and the distance is 108kms. I suppose the last bus is around 8pm(though not sure).

Suggest you to go down to Cochin from Munnar and take a fast train from Cochin to Trivandrum(about 5hrs journey).Youw ill enjoy the train journey as it is quite scenic. If you take a bus from Munnar, you will feel tired and boring as it is long winding way.
From Trivandrum , Kovalam is only about 15kms and there are number of transports available.

can any one suggest what places to be seen in and around munnar? and a travel days of 3 will be sufficient to see munnar...?

Periyar to Munnar and then to Kovalam would be kindof going back n forth. the better option is to go to munnar first, then periyar and then to kovalam or reverse of that.

how about Mid Jan or early Feb - what is teh temperature range day/night then please?

Munnar it is good ranging 16 to 28 till mid of Feb. but the costal area become hotter in the day time
