| Live music in Triv? Are there any places to go and see live music of any description in Trivandrum? Anything from classical Indian to metal. I'm there at the beginning of April. Are there such things as gig lists etc..? |

| Music in Trv Hey, there is not much going on in Trivandrum usually  You can check the local Goethe centre (German Culture Centre) or the Alliance Francaise (French Culture Centre) homepages for upcoming events. In Hotel Udai Samudra, every Saturday there is a live gig, but well, it is not exactly a concert, concert. A friend of mine is playing in the band there, they do mostly cover songs. Next to this check the hotels for parties. Sometimes something is going on. Classical concerts are announced in the local newspaper sections. Check "The Hindu", "India Express" and so on, when you are there. But they only announce those things the same day they take place. Hope this might help you a bit. greetz ben |
