Hi Guys

I want some info on Lakshadweep... I will start my trip from Chennai and how should I go about it? Which is the best time to visit?

The season is just about to start. It strts from Mid October to Mid May. You'll have to go Kochin and take either a flight or a Boat by SPORTS. More Details here.

Are you wanting to visit one or several islands? Are you interested in water sports or just peace and quiet?

HI CliveG thanks for your reply,,,, Actualyl u also cab suggest me an itinerary... i want to cover maximum islands, if its possible,,, I want quiet time...

If you want to see as many islands as possible then Dehliwalas suggestion of using SPORTS is the most efficient and cost effective way of doing that. You do sleep on the ferries rather than the islands but while on land you can either participate in the water sports or just relax. I have been on the MV Kavaratti and it is a good ferry with good food but not much to do on board.
