kozhikode accomodation + ooty

hi,

wondered if anyone could recommend any good value rooms in kozhikode. probably only staying for one night before moving onto ooty by bus.

i would love to know how long the kozhikode-ooty journey would take and any recommendations for digs in ooty would be greatly appreciated.

Kozhikode-Ooty should take you 6-7 hours depending on the condition of the roads. There are an assortment of budget hotels right next to the bus depot in Kozhikode. Both the private and state transport bus stations are within walking distance of each other. Try Hotel Sagar or Hotel Hyson for decent rooms.

If you would like something bit different, try the Beach Hotel. It is about 2km from the bus station.
