Kolkata to Kerala Train

Hi,
I'm from Bangladesh and traveling to Kerala for the first time, so I would really appreciate if someone can tell me the available routes from Kolkata to Kerala (KYJ - Kayamkulam Railway Station). I would need the following info:

1. When to start (want to reach by Dec. 5 morning or Dec. 4 night)
2. Which Train (I need different routes to compare times)
3. Train class (I have budget RS 2200 one way)

i've done this journey once: kolkata - bhubaneswar - chennai - kanyakumari: a good 60 hours of rail comfort, from kanyakumari it shouldn't take long to catch a train to trivandrum, but i'm pretty sure you'll be able to change in chennai to a more direct connection (eg: to cochin).

it's Kayankulam ...you should start on 2nd of Dec.

option 1 : train no. 2839 Howrah Dep 23:45 - Chennai Arrival on 4 Dec. 3:50 ....catch another train 6127 from chennai egmore at 7:50 you will reach Kayankulam on 5th 1:30 am

Option 2: train no, 2841 from Howrah on 3 Dec,Dep. 14:50 - Chennai arrival 17:15 on 4 Dec., ...catch another train 2623 TRIVANDRUM MAIL at 20:00 ...you will reach Kayankulam at 9:10 on 5th Dec.

Choose class 3A ...total cost will be around Rs 2100 .
