Kochi Airport and money exchange

Hiya,

I'll be arriving in Kochi Airport on a Sunday morning (in Nov) and I wondered if anyone knows whether there is an ATM in the airport (no mention of such on the airport website), or whether the exchange offices are open daily so I can get cash to pay for the the ride to town?

Hi swingding,

Unless someone can give you a for-sure answer, better to assume that there isn't an ATM. Most International airports would have a currency exchange window, but since there are so few international flights into Kochi it would be better not to count on an official money-changer open on a sunday morning either. This is why it is a good idea to bring a bit of cash along as it is usually easy to change a tenner or so (pounds, euros, or $) in situations like this even if the rate you get is not always the best.

Federal Bank has ATM chains .

Airport is having one .

Whatever be your direction in 20 kms you can find one .Look for FEDERAL BANK ATM
