Kerala worth it?

Been going to Goa for a while now and have been contemplating going for 6 weeks and whilst there travelling to Kerela and back, but not sure if it's worth the effort. No beach shacks, backwaters very busy, few decent beaches.I dont mind quiet but not sure whether there are places in between Goa and Kerela that may be a better option any suggestions gratefully received.

If you want charter flights from UK and beach shacks, stick to Goa.

If on the other hand you want to see mystic backwaters, experience Keralan cuisine, glimpse the wonders of Keralan art, dance, and traditions, have a read around the Kerala forums and then pose some more questions!

You may also like to have a look at Gokarna, in between Goa and Kerala.

After spending almost 3 weeks in hyderabad it was great to come to Kerela and see so much green landscape. I landed in Trivandrum airport and took a prepaid taxi for 3 hours the 95 km to Kanya Kumari.
