Kerala Trippe 2008

Where to begin?
Our trippe was sooooooooo awesome, I don't feel right about
share'n!! I mean, what if(?)it changes, because of some-
thing said here? Nothing but un-describeable pleasure/fun:
Three weeks of nothing except wonderful bliss, harmony, initial
rain(first three days)& lotzo sun, lassi's coming out of our ears, more curry concoctions than I can recall, nice even tan,
outa-sight accomadations,home cook'n at "Le Royal"(thanx Jenny &
Jose!!),choral expressions from village church(alleppey),no bad
stomach situations,minimal touts,big stock of "NEW" lungi's,
real gems(not blu-ashtray!!),thanx Jet& Kingfisher airlines,
wouldn't reccomend "Sun&Sand"(Juhu) to the dogge catcher,ARE
starting to "PLAN" our november re-turn to "KERALA"!! Whew!! Nuff said!!

Wow! So it was so good you're planning a second trip in the same year! Wow, just being able to do that is going to make a lot of people drool with envy

And we can see from the pics that it certainly put a smile on Vandy's face!

Always nice to hear when someone has enjoyed their trip, especially to Kerala which holds so many fond memories for our family. We are going again next month after a longish gap and pray it is as good as ever.

Thanks Vandy for the pix of Jenny and Jose and their fantastic driver Sajeeve(sp?)! So good to see their faces. Three weeks in Kerala and somehow we were having too much fun to remember to take pictures ... have a few of street scenes in Fort Kochi (as if I could forget THAT place!) ... and many of the sunsets and sunrises on the Arabian sea ... but NONE of our incredible hosts and their incomparable staff ... yes, it is no wonder you are smiling because these people would turn the world upside down for you, if you asked them to ... just the best and nicest and sweetest and friendliest and .... words fail me with these rare humans. Tanka Baba and I will be standing on that porch again, in the not too near future I hope, and next time I will try to think to pull out my camera so I can have a picture of my own! Until then, I thank you again for sharing yours!

Hi there,

If you look in Hotels(top of page) and go to Kerala section and then go to Page 3.

S&s?

What is "Sun n Sand" ?

"'Nuff said"--what torture for those (like me) who've not yet been to Kerala. Iwould LOVE to read more details. Agree with Dhans, please add reviews of places you stayed to the hotel section.

Great to read your enthusiasm about the trip.

masculin vs feminin

It should be LE Royal or LA Royale. I'll have to tease Jenny about her French one day! In either case--having had the pleasure of speaking with her-- ELLE EST FORMIDABLE ET MAGNIFIQUE!!!!
