Kerala in May?

Hi,

I will be travelling to Guruvayur in May'08.
I know it is not ideal weather...have to attend a wedding.
Having travelled to Guruvayur, I am hoping to visit some other places.
I have not travelled much in South India.
I'm thinking Kerela as weather-wise it might be the best option.

Looking for some itinerary suggestions.

Thanks
Psmith

Hot, but not as hot as Chennai.

Hot, but not in the same league as Rajasthan!

Pre-monsoon (starts early June), although an evening shower may come to cool you down.

Lots of coconut palms to keep the sun off you; could be nice. I think I've been there early May (might have been late April), and it was nice

Visit the hills and tea estates of Munnar.
See the wildlife around Kumily and Thekkady.
Spend time on a beach such as Varkala.
If it gets too hot, move on to Ooty or Kodaikanal.
