| Kerala Honeymoon trip 19th to 26th Aug2009 We are planning to visit Kerala for our honeymoon trip. 1. Tentative itinerary that we have planned: · Arrival at Varkala on 19th morning 3.00AM. · 19th (3AM) – 20Th (12PM) Varkala 20th (12PM) – 21st(10AM) 1st day Varkala Varkala beach and enjoy the beach stay and sunset. 21st checkout at 10 o’clock and leave for Alleppey by train Netravathi Exp Dep 10.35Am Arr 12.50Pm Check-into hotel and then go for Back water village tour Dep: 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm(4 hours) back to hotel and relax at the hotel or check-into non A/c Houseboat which will take you enjoy cruise across the backwaters 21st (1PM) – 22nd(5.45AM) 2nd day Alleppey Snake Boat, Historical Church, Paddy Fields, Kuttanadan Region, Sunset Cruise. Overnight stay at houseboat Alleppey Backwaters . 22nd checkout and leave for Ernakulam by train Mumbai Exp Dep 6.25Am Arr 8.00Am and leave for Periyar (Thekkady) by bus (195Km 6hr) around 2 o’clock arrival at Thekkady. 22nd (2PM) – 23rd (12PM) 3rd day Periyar 23rd (12PM) – 24th (12PM) 4th day Periyar Visit Periyar wild life sanctuary, Motor boat cruise through Periyar Tiger Reserve forest lake, Spice Plantation 24th checkout and leave for Munnar by bus as early as possible. (Thekkady to Munnar 106 KM. apprx.) 24th (1PM) – 25Th (12PM) 5th day Munnar On the way visit, Spice Plantations, Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, visit Tea museum etc.Overnight stay at Munnar 25th (12PM) – 26Th (12PM) 6th day Munnar Madupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Athukkad Falls, Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, Tea Museum, Blossom Park, Pothamedu Sunset. Overnight stay at Munnar . 26th (8.00AM) checkout and leave for Ernakulam station and leave for pune by train Dep. Time 1.00PM (Munnar to Ernakulam 145 KM apprx.) Require your opinion on this. | Bit of too many places considering you are going for honeymoon ! May be after going there, you can decide to skip some.. as many fall on the way, it is fine.. |
