do you think we shall change kannur into another destination?
shall we leave kannur and spend more time in wayanad,calicut,fort cochin and alleppey?

I reckon just play it by ear. You may love Fort kochin, or hate it. You may want to go to Madurai. There are so many possibilities.
If it were me, I would just "go with the flow."

Palerider is right, it's better to go with the flow. But not many of us felt comfortable to do that on our first trip to India!

What we tend to do is to go with a plan, but also document some alternatives that we think we may want to do, and how to do them. So we try to know when the morning bus/train goes even if we plan to go on the evening one, etc. and how to get to the 'maybe' places from each point.
