kerala Asthamay Bungalows

Hi I'm thinking of staying in Asthamay Bungalows in Kerala, can anyone tell me about them, i.e. are they nice, close to meeting other travelers!
How far from the airport etc.
All responses all most welcome.
Thanks guys.

When do you plan to stay here? We have just got back from a short stay here. I would personally recommend other accommodation surrounding Asthamay as it was over priced, didn't include breakfast and Bala the owner was not very helpful at all!

Yes, next door to Asthamay bungalows is blue wave. They are more expensice 2500rp. next door to this is Pink Aana We managed to get a good rate a the pink aana (pink elephant) 1500rp. they have 4 bungalows. We got the one closest to the sea, it was very peaceful and the staff (owned by brothers) are brilliant. A bit slow with food, give them lots of notice, but everything is freshly cooked and the breakfast is miles better than Asthamay. One thing, you can really hear the sea at night, which I liked but some people may not. I can't find their details online though I'm afraid.
