Hi
Looking for more than just a crash work. I am looking for in depth training, 4 hours a day perhaps, for 3 months or so. Your #'s 1 and 2 I am fairly familiar with, but would also like to cover: Knowledge about essential herbs (50-100), different types of ayurvedic massage, and be able to practice on people during class time
thanks

mmmm

sorry to say

I beg to differ .

These courses are nto offered to any Indians in India .Unfortunately lot of people attending this short courses are also going back and doing ayurvedic practice.Let ayurveda grow .Let these ayurvedic practioners who want to organise short courses get it certified through Atyrvedic Medical Council .So that syllabus and course can be designed and qualified people can do that .
Also hear the experiences of the other people .At the moment we need ayurveda which is pure and gree from physicians greed .Unfortunately that trend is growing .

I am sorry to say that these short term courses are offerd to indians mainly, the central council of indian medicine designed only 3 ourses, BAMS, MD Ayurveda ,and Some PG Diplomas they are regular courses.

a lot of courses in Medicinal plants and other allied ayurvedic theams are available in different universities in India .
Poona university and Jam nagar university are offering courses which i was describing in the last posting , for both foriegners and indians, they all are non clinical , except the one designed By the CCIM , in trivandrum all amost every hospitals organise massage training courses , Kits a govt Body offer their course just yestedday in news paper ,in there cochin centre , FRLHT in banglore is one of the best who organise courses in the non conventional way ,

Ayurveda survived more than 4 Milleniums , it survived the religious conflicts in budhist and Muslim periods, the technological threats in Colonial period, allways it was survived becasue of the true spirit and belife of the practitioners who abosrb the ayurveda in there life .

now the university education brings more youngsters who just want a carrier to support there life, not the development of Ayurveda ?
and ayurveda survided it also , the growing international attention supports it now and atractrs more people , the new restriction in EU is also helping ayurveda to take the new challeneges to prove its greatness.
so what ever happens in this field, it is only because of the people who work here to propagate its message to the world .
A big world and small people
