Just one day at Cochin - advice needed - Alleppey / Cherai / Fort Kochi / Munnar
Hi Folks,
I have just one day (a Saturday) which I can sqeeze in between work at COCHIN - flying on Friday from Pune and back on Sunday. What can I do to make it memorable? SOME OPTIONS: 1. Spend it walking around Fort Kochi 2. Go to Alleppey. Walk around the backwaters clicking in scenes. 3. Go to Alleppey. Take tour to Kumarakom (is this a cheap option? (suggest!)) and get back to Alleppey and stay in an economy hotel. 4. Go to Cherai Beach and stay overnight at an economy option (suggest!). 5. Go to Munnar click around and come back - two nights in bus(??? Crazy ???) Also, for OPTION2 is there a way to get to KUMARAKOM BIRD SANCTUARY by a ferry / ATPC tour boat? (no house boats please!) Any other suggestions? Will Alleppey be crowded and bursting with tourists? Last edited by machadinha : Dec 5th, 2006 at 19:33. Reason: moved to kerala forum; adjusted title |
