JJ Cottage - Munnar
Hello!
Has anyone stayed at JJ Cottage in Munnar before? If so, can you give me some reviews / advice etc. I can't find any website for them or contact info. I am going 19th December so if anyone knows the peak season cost that would be great. Thanks |

Hi Sharan,
Thanks for sending me their number - do your parents happen to have any pictures of JJ Cottage? I just can't find anything on the internet and would like to see what it looks like. Thanks |

Hi, I visited Munnar this weekend and in fact even came across JJ cottage. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera at that time with me!
Its located a km before the actual munnar town, this place is called old munnar and is near the KSRTC bus station. Its basically a 3-storey small building (pink colour) located in a street off the main road (which comes from Cochin) |

Mari, I am afraid, its still within the old Munnar town. If you want something away from the town, the best option is to look out for hotels in Pothamedu or Devikulam, a few kms from Munnar. But I'm not sure of many budget options in these places.

Hi mari77,
Rose Gardens is nice, stayed there last year. Tommy and family are lovely hosts. If your up to it,ask Tommy to take you on his private Tea Estate and forrest trek. Approx 4 hrs and not too strenous.I think he Charges around 800rps per person.Highly reccomended. |
