Post Is July best time to visit Kumarakom?

Hi all, I'm just planning a trip to Kumarakom for a getaway. I'm not much interested in going around visiting places.
How is Kumarakom during July. Is it worthy enough to visit the place during Mansoon?
Pls suggest!

Send a message via Yahoo to Keralan
If you are not palnning to move out of the resort, the backwaters and a stay by a lake side ( lake facing ) resort is the best way for a prefect relaxed holiday during monsoon

Ohhh.....didn't you just posted in Himachal forum....that the OP can do it in monsoons as it does not rain daily........

If you have ever been to Munnar in monsoon, you won't go in any other season.....

Ofcourse an Armchair traveler can give any kind of advice to anybody....

Hills are not barren lands, Falls are always there....and had you been to Munnar or Kumarkom in Monsoon, you would have noticed how green these places become..............

His experience would had been a lot different had it rained heavily..I said rains happen intermittently so when its not raining its better than most places around...It is a gamble.. It may work it may not work...It worked for Jorge but its not gurantee it will work for evryone...

and I love my armchair...

Ask any local is July a torist season or off season...

Avoidable bcoz there are better alterantives...

This is my opinion...if was so sure of visiting the place then why ask for an opinion.. Instead of misreable Kumarakom ...there are better hill stations in India...

The thread is about the best time...Not the second or the third from the best..

You read the OP's post once again . He wasn't sure that's why he asked......

Regarding better places refer my reply to your point no. 1

Read the OP's post once again, he asked "Is it worthy enough to visit the place during Mansoon?"

In his question where is the point of first best or second best ??? Did you read the OP's query or the heading of this post and replied in haste ?? That usually happens with Armchair Travel Specialists......

You are suffering heavily from the Armchair travel syndrome.....

You don't read......or probably you have some defect in your optical nerve ....you seriously need to get your eyes checked......

I am keeping it plain and simple......only you are in spirals.....because of your alternatives theory.......

I saw that during your preparation to my replies you were checking another thread Miserable? OK? Kerala during June-Aug

Ha Ha Ha......all the visitors said that they enjoyed it in Monsoons.....

It's Indiamike, armchair travel specialists get fried very soon......
