Internet access in lakshadweep
Hi guys,
I am planning a long vacation in lakshadweep islands sometime soon,but I would like to know the internet connection status of the islands. Are there commercial internet access available in the region? Any idea about the rates? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

All I know is that there is internet access on Bangaram via the managers office therefore would assume the other islands also have access. Blackberrys also work on Bangaram. I don't know if the islands such as Agatti have a commercial internet outlet.

Further update on internet connections. I have been told Agatti has a portable internet (whatever that is) but may not be available for public use. Minicoy does not have internet and I suspect the same is true of Kavaratti and the other major islands.
Even mobile phone use can be limited with some networks not available. |
