I have been searching and found this forum informative. Need your valuable suggestions.

I am pllaning a HM trip in dec.

1) Which place in India do you suggest would be better at that time.
We are thinking of goin to Kerela ..

2) My trip would be for 5 days or 6days ...

3) Can you please let me know some good places around for the above travel period of 5 days.

4) Need a good travel agent who can show us all the places there.

5) How much do you think that I should/would be spending for this trip ?

You will see many similar threads to yours and responces you could find helpfull.

Eventhough I personally have had NO dealings with these Tour Operators, other members from IM have been satisfied with their services and subsequently reccomended them.

The answer depends on what you are planning to do and what do you expect out of this trip.


Based on that you have options right from Kashmir to Kerala

But you need to be clear what you want - honeymoon is no time for suprises ( espcially when it comes to location) for ex : you wanted a cooler place and ended up in hotter place - you wanted a rainy climate and ended up in dry place those things and of course your budget

I was planning to have some time with my wife .. Some Scenic places to go around ... Want to spend some quality time ...Not travelling much ... and a House boat infact..

The places I was thinknig are

Munnar
Thekkady(Periyar)
Kumarakom 1 Night
Alleppey(Houseboat)

Please sugesst if these are fine in the mid month of Dec ....
Any suggestions in the month of Dec too ...
And how much would be the travel costs. I am ready for 40-50k for 5-6 days ...
--I would be travelling from Hyderabad.
