Honeymoon in Feb '10, Plz suggest !!

Hi,
i was planning for a honey moon in Feb 2010.Will this be a good time 2b at Kerala? What places can we visit for a weeks time? How would the weather shape up? I wish to visit the hills,backwaters and beaches around.

it would b nice if any f u share ur personal exp.

hi,
if u are planning for a week,i suggest u have 2 days in munnar,one day in tekady,a day in allepey and a day in kumarokam.these are the best honeymoon spots.make hotel bookings well in advance since its season.u can also have a day in cochin for shopping and some night life.

thanx for the help! actually i m planning to travel from ooty-kodai to munnar. So will visit those places as u mentioned on my way back home.

well with seasons starting out the forget weather it would be great
plan to travel and hotel.there are lots of post/IMers out here to help you Best way to start would be to come up with itinerary and we can refine it From allepey/kumarokam choose one of them both are very similar

You could consider Marari Beach Resort - run by CGHearth a great place to stay for your honeymoon and they would arrange a trip on a houseboat.

Hey everybody
I'm really thankful to each one f u 4 posting me with details.I will be travelling from kolkata for my honeymoon, So whats the best way 2 return back as i cudnt find a direct flight back. all had 1-2 breaks in chennai/bangalore or somewhere else.Please suggest.Whats the min temperature there during winters at the hill stations?

Temperatures in the hills in February will probably be about 20-25 degrees C around midday and about 4-8 degrees C at night.
