We're contemplating what to do in Periyar, there are many options but I think some would be too hard for us (or maybe just here, I think I could manage it). |

Daily forecast
HTID
They also do a 2 day forecast. http://www.imd.ernet.in/main_new.htm I use the infra red image to predict the level of daily rains during the monsoons, as the forecast in the newspapers and on TV is usually way out. |

The weather in Kerala is a bit erratic at the moment. The summer has generally been quite cool due to there being exceptionally many clouds this summer. Also, there have been more evening showers than expected. However, I don't think you should expect any significant rain for the next ten days. It may rain in the early morning or evening on some days, but the general picture is that it will be dry.
I use AccuWeather for my weather forecasts. For Kochi: 5 day weather forecast for Kochi For Kumily (taken from the nearest weather station in Vandiperiyar which is 17km from Kumily): 5 days weather forecast for Kumily |
