Hello Naseem, welcome to IM
![]() Please don't misuse the poll fucnction, but you are welcome to ask your questions. Kerala has many faces, let us know what kind of thing you want to see: that would help.

No problem. Thing is, just make an ordinary thread, rather than a poll, to ask your questions.
Browse the site, though, you'll find many of them answered already! Enjoy Indiamike.com ![]() |

continuinf with the previous post...actually i had to rush to answr a phone call...u can try to climb the chembra peak in wayanad. it is a district of very small towns. but it is very very very green, has some good hills and waterfalls and is also borderign the ooty district. there are also some wildlife sanctuaries. as for getting there from bangalore, all the buses going from bangalore to kozhikode/calicut pass through wayanad.in october 2005 i had gone with my friends to wayanad on a bike trip (t'was a nice experience, but we were over enthusiastic and i ended up with an accident). so u shld be careful while driving around the roads in that area since they r pretty serpentine

Naseem, what are your interests? Kerala has beaches, backwater cruises, temples, culture/tradtion/arts, ayurveda, elephants/wildlife, etc.. Depending on what you are interested in, we may be able to advise better. Try some of the website for some background:

That's a tough one.... If you are interested in Ayurveda then you should go for a course of treatment. But you're not going to know what's needed or for how long until you have consulted an ayurvedic doctor.

Everywhere!
It would be better to ask where you can find a good one --- many hotels of any size will have a 'treatment centre'. Some actually set themselves up as ayurvedic resorts, with the intention of attracting a high percentage of visitors seeking treatment. But for any more on this, I'd better hope that one of the Kerala members comes along. click ->here for another recent thread touching on this subject, but it has often come up on the site: you could try a search |

kerala has hills ,beaches, culture, great food and beautiful small towns..
u cant visit the places according to the number of days u have.. if u going from bangalore u can go to wayanad(overnight bus journey from bangalore)which is forested and hilly then proceed to kochi (dutch palace, synagogue etc) then u can go furthur down to alleppy (backwaters), munnar(hill station),periyar wildlife scanctuary , kovallam(beaches)...these are the popular places.. other than that there are many small n non touristy but beautiful places...there are lotta ayurvedic centers too but be careful about the fake ones... happy travelling |
