| Help needed for Kerala Hi all, I am off to India for my honeymoon. We are planning to spend a few days in Delhi & the golden triangle before flying to Kerala (Cochin). I have about a 10 days in Kerala and am in need of some help with an itenery. I would like to take a backwaters tour as well as visit the periyar wildlife sanctuary. A couple of days by the beach needs to be in the mix for the future wife, was thinking Cherai beach? Main question is do you think this is too much for 10 days? I have been reading the lonely planet at the wildlife sanctuary takes up quite a bit of travel time (there & back from Cochin), is it easier to hire a car for this journey? Or do a circular route? As we are on our honeymoon I don't want to scrimp too much how expensive would a private car be for this journey? Any thoughts suggestions greatly appreciated. |
