Ghost Chained to Tree in Wayanad

Hi all,

A tribesman of northern Kerala gave the British the secret to a route from the Malabar Coast up the Western Ghats to the rich soils of Wayanad. He was promised riches, but a bullet was his only reward. His spirit haunted the British until a powerful magician captured the ghost in a pit under a Bodhi Tree near Lakkidi. The seal to the pit is chained to the tree.

This seems to have been a fairly effective means of securing the ghost.

Regards
