Flying into Cochin
Does anybody know where we should head to and recommendations for places to stay. I am going there on Friday

It would be helpful if you could indicate your budget. You can find good places to stay from 200rps-20,000rps. All depends on what you're looking for. Though many of the nice midrange hotels will already be booked.

We're arriving on Wednesday next week and have booked into the Raintree Lodge. It's got some excellent reviews. Email address is edgarpinto@yahoo.com. A double room room wih AC, including taxes, is 1,600 rps (£20) per night.

i can suggest to go straith to fort kochi..the name of the house is fort kochin in..and double room is around 500r..if you are interested i can leave you phone..

I arrived in kochi late at night so I stayed same night at abad
airport hotel- just three minutes by taxi from airport if that, next day I caught taxi to ernakulam. if you land during daylight hours,catch taxi to ernakulam,abad atrium hotel on MG road is pretty good. rgds Paul Vandy |

vandy: We stayed three nights at that hotel! We arrived very late in the evening and all hotel desks at the airport were closed!
